Today we have over 2,500 students who are studying in Malaysia. The majority of these students study at the major local institutions that teach for our degrees in Malaysia. Many other young Malaysians cross the border in to Singapore and study at the local institutions that we work with there. To find out more please visit our Directory of Institutions.
Our qualifications are internationally recognized and portable. Students study and take their exams locally through the Ministry of Education in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kuching or Kota Kinabalu. However, if your work or family causes you to move you can take your studies with you as we have exam centres all over the world.
We will be visiting Malaysia on 20 - 21st March and taking part in the British Council Fair.
Meet our team then and find out more about our range of degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level. We can provide you with application advice at the event and you can find out more about getting local institution support for your studies in Malaysia.

UEC qualifications: You will also satisfy our general entrance requirements if you have passed at least 5 UEC’s at grade B or above together with at least 3 SPMs passed in non overlapping subjects with English passed in the SPMs. (If you have not passed English in the SPM’s , then a specific English language qualification would likely be required.) For the degrees in Economics, Management, Finance, Social Science one of the UEC OR SPM subjects must be Mathematics.
Our courses are not only well respected, but also recognised by a wide range of universities for transfer or as the first part of a 1+2 programme. This means that many students study the first year of their degree in Malaysia and the second and third year either at a College of the University of London, another university in the UK, or elsewhere. Many UK universities have special admissions arrangements for second year entry from our courses including Kingston, Reading, Surrey, Sheffield and Westminster.
Student Ambassadors are graduates who can assist new or prospective students with studying for a University of London degree through the External System. If you'd like to contact an ambassador please see the Alumni area of our website.
